Labantwana Ama Uber Amapiano Fakaza, Listen Below
Labantwana Ama Uber is an amapiano tunes shared by three South African piano mixers, Semi Tee, Miano & Kammu Dee.
Kammu Dee who is 20, and Semi Tee who also is 21, have been friends from childhood, and they both are from Orlando West.
Maino, who completed the group is a 23 year old, who had been known to be along the streets of White City in Soweto, after given-up on his goal to become a footballer.
About six months back, the Soweto-born youngsters of Sicelo Miano named Sikhosana, Kammu Dee named Kamogelo Duma and Semi Tee named Tumelo Ramaila were then like random boys in the streets, looking for their huge break in life.
In an interview, Maino revealed; “I got tired of playing soccer everyday and training. I was hustling on the streets.” He also continued; “I had thrown in the towel thinking I was nobody, so the only thing to do was hit the streets and be nobody.”
Kammu Dee on the other hand finished his matric the previous year, but always dreamed of producing music.
Kammu revealed; “I didn’t expect it to happen like this but I had high hopes because we (him and Semi) were working on so many songs thinking that any one of them will be our big break.”
Then, Semi Tee revealed he has always been in his room mostly working on new piano beats which he expected to give them the major break they were all looking for.
Then, the unexpected came forth, he made out a catchy amapiano beat which he subsequently labelled Labantwana Ama Uber.
Semi Tee later met with Miano in April during a party and then, he knew they should work together on the song.
Amapiano hit track Labantwana Ama Uber has already been certified gold, just after a few months of it’s release, and it has been trending on Mzansi’s summer playlists. And more interestingly, the story of how the trio went from rags-to-riches was also told in the dance anthem.
The trio also revealed that they have coming songs ft DJ Maphorisa and Killa Kau.
