DJ Maphorisa Joins With Sho Madjozi, Sjava & Others In New EP
DJ Maphorisa is an award winning South African artiste, he alongside the brand Castle Milk Stout, are set to dispatch the EP on the eighteenth of September. This is done in festivity of Heritage Day. Titled Clan Beats, the EP highlights a scope of craftsmen who are gladly African in their music and picture.
This is certainly not a far reach from what he has done in the past having worked with Uhuru, Mafikizolo, Wizkid among others-all specialists who are true in their sound.
The EP highlights prolific South African artistes like KB Motsilanyane, Sho Madjozi, Sjava and Thandiswa Mazwai. These SA artistes will be joined by the voices of commendation artists, Stoan Seate, Dr Sithole, Madala Kunene and Zolani Mkiva.
Talking about the taking a shot at the EP, Maphorisa shared his energy towards the new project, he said “I was really excited, it reminds us of our culture and stuff so I said, you know what, it’s been a while. Even me I’m from the urban side so it made me want to know about my culture so it really was a dope thing to be a part of.”
Clan Beats will be another big ventures which DJ Maphorisa has taken a shot at this year. He as of late discharged the effective Amapiano EP called Scorpion Kings alongside Kabza De Small with hits including Vula Vala and Amantobazane. He likewise takes part in Samthing Soweto’s profoundly awaited studio collection called Isphithiphiti which is planned to turn up on the twentieth September.
Clan Beats will be held in Johannesburg on the eighteenth of September and the EP is set to be discharged on Heritage Day, 24 September.
